Pawrty Time | A Party Planning Company for Pups

This is a passion project that explores brand identity. Pawrty Time is a conceptual brand that specializes in party planning for dogs. Any pet lover will proudly admit that their four-legged friends deserve to be celebrated just as much as we humans do.

Exploring Patterns

Patterns are great for brand identities for several reasons. A unique pattern can help make a brand more recognizable and memorable, and they can provide a consistent visual language for a brand, which can help to reinforce its identity and make it more cohesive.

Above all, patterns can be a great way to add creativity and personality to a brand. My logo mark resembles a balloon dog that you may receive at a young child’s birthday party. I think we can all say we or someone we know has received one of these before at a birthday party when we were younger.

The connection between the animal and the balloon seemed like a no-brainer for me when creating this icon, which then developed into a pattern that was used throughout the rest of the brand identity.

Youthful Color

I challenged myself by bringing bright and youthful colors into this project. The bright color palette helps viewers associate this brand with bright and bold colors to help create a distinctive and recognizable brand that stands out in the minds of consumers.

When making decisions about color, I knew it wouldn’t be appropriate to create a doggy birthday party brand that was dull and muted.

Make it stand out.

As a designer, mockups are vital because they allow designers to visualize and communicate design ideas in a more tangible way. By allowing my audience to see how the brand is working in “real life,” I allow them to get excited at the thought of this brand becoming a real thing and letting them share that experience with their pups.
